There are 4 basic features that can be found in Slot Games.
1 or all 4 of these features could be offered in any one game.

Let me take the slot game Crusade of Fortune by Net Entertainment to use as an example in demonstrating these 4 features. I use this particular game because it illustrates all 4 of the possible features a slot might offer.

Crusade of Fortune starts out with super graphics, in a conventional slot game reels style. You select lines to bet on and coin values. Off the reels go spinning like mad. Here is what you will read in the game instructions. I will go over it in detail for a clearer understanding.

Symbol

Description

A wild symbol that can substitute for any other symbol to complete a winning bet line, except for scatters and bonus wins.

A scatter symbol. Wins with scatter symbols pay the multiplier (displayed in the paytable) multiplied by the total bet. In addition, 3+ scatter symbols activates free spins.

The bonus symbol. 3+ bonus symbols on a betline activate the bonus game. You can see what the bonus screen looks like by clicking on the FEATURE PREVIEW button to the right of the game buttons

1- Interactive bonus game

This feature I always look for when selecting a slots game. It’s my absolute favorite. Slots have come a long way since their start in the Wild West’s 1800′s. They are now the most popular draw for any casino, online or land based. With the invention of video slots in the 1980′s the stage was set for the “Interactive Bonus Game Feature”. It is an “off the reel” video game within the slot reels mode. Crusade of Fortune starts out with spinning reels but later, when 3 Bonus symbols appear, you enter into a classic fantasy world full of adventure, magic, beasts to battle and great heroes. It requires your participation more than skill. But it’s best to know what is going on. 2- Scatter symbols / Free Bonus spins

These can appear anywhere on the board and do not have to be matched up on a pay line to win. Normally 3 of these Scatters anywhere on the board and you win free spins. For 3 Scatters many times you win 10 free spins, for 4 Scaters 20 spins and with 5 Scatter symbols showing you win 30 free spins. With a multiplier and free spins won within a free spin mode, it can get good!

3- Wild symbols

These symbols can replace any symbol on the pay line. For example if it is between two cherries, it counts as 3 cherries in a row. Some slot games, in free spin mode, offer what is called Sticky Wilds. This refers to the Wild symbol staying in place and not moving during the next few spin.  When more Wilds Stick as well you have a lot of Wilds accumulating to help your winnings. It’s a lucrative feature when it is hit

4- Jackpot- 3 types

1- The game gives you the chance to win up to 300,000 coins in the main game and 250,000 coins in the bonus game. This game is not being advertised as a jackpot Slot. However winning 300,000 coins valued at .50$ is a LOT OF MULA. It effectively gives you a jackpot for winning.
